UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is seeking a registered nurse for night shift responsible for planning, delivery and management of direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to nursing standards.

The role requires current MA nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications as well as ongoing professional development. The position offers a non-exempt, full-time schedule with a 2300-0700 shift and a competitive hiring range.

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is a requirement within 30 days of hire.
ACLS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
PALS through AHA required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
NRP Advanced Provider through AAP required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

Responsabilités

Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
