Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg/Cardiac unit in Milford, MA. This on-site, full-time night shift (7p–7a) offers a 36-hour work week with a detailed scope of responsibilities and a competitive hiring range.

The role emphasizes direct patient care planning, evaluation, and discharge planning within a collaborative care team. Requirements include MA RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS/PALS where applicable, with NRP if required in maternity or select units.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing license and registration.
• BLS at time of hire.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Supervise and delegate nursing care within the assigned setting.
