Job summary

Carolina Foods, Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a 12-hour night shift in our fast-paced bakery, prioritizing safety, quality, and throughput.

You will coach a diverse production team, optimize schedules, ensure GMP, SQF and FDA compliance, and partner with maintenance and procurement to sustain continuous improvement.

Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years in manufacturing management; yeast-bread experience and ERP familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing management experience (Food production preferred).
• Hands-on experience with yeast-raised sweet breads in a bakery setting.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team.
• Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Tech-savvy with JD Edwards, SAP, IR scanner guns is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and coordinate production team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Monitor and improve production processes for efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain GMP, SQF, and FDA standards to ensure a safe, sanitary environment.
• Coach, train, and mentor employees to foster continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Troubleshoot issues, oversee raw material inventory, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost productivity.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
