Job summary

Rayzan InfoTech LLC is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee overnight bakery production near Pittsburgh, PA. The role ensures bread and baked goods are produced, baked, packaged, and prepared for distribution according to quality standards and schedules.

Lead the night shift, coordinate daily production activities, monitor ovens and equipment, manage ingredient inventory, and enforce sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or food production and supervisory roles.
• Experience with overnight shift or fast-paced production.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to train staff and manage shift handoffs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred experience in commercial baking or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all 3rd shift bakery production activities, including mixing, baking, packaging, and staging finished products.
• Coordinate employee assignments and ensure adequate staffing to meet production goals and schedules.
• Monitor ovens, production equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain appropriate ingredient inventory levels and minimize material waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation requirements, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Monitor production output, product quality, and overall operational efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production delays, equipment issues, and staffing challenges in a timely manner.
• Train, coach, and support team members to promote productivity, accountability, and teamwork.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment throughout the shift.
• Communicate production results, equipment concerns, staffing updates, and other important information to management during shift handoffs.
