Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement on the bakery floor.

You will work on the 3rd shift (10:00 pm–6:30 am), onsite, with weekend availability required, and play a key role in meeting customer demand while collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or food production preferred.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret production schedules and safety rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to train, lead, and communicate with teams in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Coordinate production schedules with Materials Management to meet demand.
• Monitor line performance, downtime, and waste; implement improvements.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with product specifications through inspection and control.
• Train and develop team members on quality standards and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance production performance and cost.
