Job summary
fairlife, LLC is seeking an Automated Equipment Technician for 12-hour nights in Webster, NY. The role supports maintenance of plant automated assets across packaging, processing, and warehousing areas, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
Night shift includes a $2/hour differential and a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in automated equipment maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills and PLC/HMI/robotics exposure, plus an associate degree in
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years maintenance experience in automated systems and assets.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing maintenance or engineering team.
- Knowledge of automation programming languages and software.
- Safety procedures and industry regulations knowledge.
- Strong problem solving, communication and organization skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain and troubleshoot automated processing, packaging, and warehousing systems.
- Conduct tests to evaluate performance of automated systems and assets.
- Maintain records of automated systems and assets.
- Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems.
- Install or replace control devices, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Drives.
- Work with ICTs and Engineering to improve process control systems.
