Job summary

Webster, NY-based fairlife, LLC seeks a Plant Automated Equipment Technician (AET) to maintain and troubleshoot automated assets and systems. You will join a shift maintenance team, handling planned and unplanned work per instructions and site rules.

Responsibilities include testing, documentation, preventative maintenance, and training support for other technicians across processing, packaging, ASRS, and facilities. Strong PLC/HMI/Robotics experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years maintenance experience in automated equipment systems and assets development and troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing maintenance or engineering team.
• Knowledge of programming languages and software applications related to automation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot automated processing, packaging, and warehousing systems and assets.
• Conduct tests to evaluate performance of automated systems and assets.
• Maintain records of automated systems and assets.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems.
• Assist with the development of training materials for other technicians.
• Work as part of a team to plan, analyze and control the quality of processes.
• Install or replace control devices, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Drives.
• Plant liaison for new system start up and commissioning by outside contractors, OEMs, and vendors.
