Job summary

fairlife, LLC, a Chicago-based nutrition company, seeks a Warehouse Operator in Webster, NY. The role supports loading/unloading, inventory accuracy, and paperwork in a fast-paced dairy environment.

This 12-hour night shift rotates on a 2-2-3 schedule with a $2/hour night differential; base pay ranges from $24 to $26 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and an emphasis on safety and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience (food and beverage experience a plus).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with handheld RF Scanner.
• Experience with powered industrial equipment.
• Basic Computer/data entry skills (WMS experience a plus).
• Basic knowledge of GMPs.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work different shifts including off shifts.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficiency in English: Written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to best practices for food safety and quality, promoting the Believe in Better culture.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of the powered industrial fleet and other warehouse equipment.
• Accurate receipt confirmations, data entry of receipts, and shipping documentation; organize files.
• Comply with warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements; advise management on actions.
• Be audit ready: keep floors, drains, cooler, and posts clean.
• Coordinate outbound/inbound material flow to support inventory levels in our facility.
• Inform other departments of inventory changes or discrepancies.
• Take daily inventory of consumables; participate in cycle counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
