Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods is seeking an Electromechanical Technician for nights to perform advanced maintenance on electromechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation in Williamson, NY. You will diagnose issues, repair and optimize equipment, and support safety and GMP practices.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in maintenance with strong electrical troubleshooting, ladder logic, and HMI/ABB software familiarity; and you must be willing to work the 2-2-3 night schedule with

Qualifications

HS Diploma required; two-year associate degree or equivalent trade training preferred.
3+ years electrical and electromechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting required.
Experience troubleshooting to identify root causes on electrical equipment.
Food/pharma GMP, OSHA, FDA, EPA familiarity preferred.
Reads electrical schematics; understands instrumentation and controls.
Able to read ladder logic and diagnose production issues.
Familiar with conveyors, fillers, cappers, case packers, pumps, and related equipment.
Willing to work OT, weekends/holidays as production demands.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation, and preventive maintenance on electromechanical and electrical systems and PLCs.
Complete preventative maintenance on all equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Support continuous improvement by providing equipment/process expertise.
Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical components including motors, servos, VFDs, and PLCs.
Provide technical support to Operations for training and cross-training of maintenance tasks.
