• BSN required; incumbents must obtain BSN within 3 years of March 1, 2024.
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse, State of CT and BLS certification required.
• Other certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations.
• Oversee daily operations including off-shift and weekend supervision of nursing and non-licensed staff.
• Manage resources, payroll, and colleague scheduling; monitor patient throughput for efficient operations.
• Maintain safe and therapeutic unit environment; provide staff RN support as needed.
• Lead Performance Improvement activities within the department and foster professional development.
