Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to lead nursing care and unit operations within the Family Birthing Center in New Britain, CT. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring patient-centered care, and collaborating with leadership to meet hospital goals.

Ideal candidates will have a BSN, CT RN licensure, and at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 2 years acute care nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse in CT with BLS certification.
• Other certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, clinical staff, and unit operations.
• Oversee daily operations including off shift and weekend supervision.
• Manage resources, payroll, and staff schedules.
