Meijer Inc. is seeking an Area Leader who will oversee an area of care, lead Leads and Team Leaders, and be accountable for operations and financials. The role focuses on engagement, recognition, coaching, and performance management to strengthen the store’s results across shrink, productivity, safety and scheduling.

The candidate will drive process improvements, guide staffing decisions and sustain Meijer’s inclusive culture. A bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years in retail leadership is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience and a passion for service.
• Ability to analyze financial information and make informed decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Engage team members with onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identify talent and support staffing and leadership pathway planning.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, including budget and P&L items.
• Drive safety, compliance and store condition management across the span of care.
