Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an Admissions and Registration Coordinator to support non-clinical patient encounters and ensure accurate registration, demographics, and insurance data for hospital accounts. The role demands excellent communication, a patient-centered approach, and proficiency with Epic Patient Access and related billing modules.

Work is night shift, 40 hours weekly, with weekend and holiday requirements. A 2-week training period is provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant healthcare/medical office experience.
• EPIC applications including scheduling, registration, billing, and order communications.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Schedule appointments and perform time-of-service collections.
• Obtain authorizations and provide same-day admission notifications to payers.
• Support clinical care teams with a friendly, professional patient experience.
