Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Shift Supervisor to oversee a single site in Allston, MA. You will supervise security officers, coordinate on-shift activities, and serve as a liaison with account management to deliver quality service. Starting pay is $25.50 per hour, with paid orientation and training.

Sunday and Monday 11 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must have 1+ year of supervisor security experience and strong written and oral communication, as well as the ability to prepare clear

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driving positions require a valid Driver’s License and driving record.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate delivery of security services on a specific shift at the assigned customer.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and Officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
