Job summary

Sheppard-Pratt is seeking an Overnight Security Operations Center Officer in Elkridge, MD. You will oversee daily security operations across hospital campuses, handling emergency and non-emergency calls, monitoring CCTV and alarms, and coordinating with local emergency services to ensure patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations.
• Must be able to work day, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts as needed.
• Occasional travel between SP properties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms.
• Operate facility computer systems as assigned.
• Coordinate with security and safety teams to ensure business continuity.
• Prioritize calls by urgency and importance.
• Manage security incidents per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire, and EMS as needed.
• Assist with dispatch of officers and units.
• Maintain logs of calls and activities.
• Adhere to departmental standards and post orders.
