Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health’s RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool. This night-shift role covers multiple units and 36 hours per week, enabling care across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and oncology.
Minimum qualifications include ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, and 2–3 years in Medical-Surgical/Oncology with proficient computer skills. Monday–Friday with some weekend/holiday rotation; PT options may apply.
Qualifications
- ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
- Proficient computer skills.
- 2-3 years of Medical Surgical/Oncology experience.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
- Night Shift, 36 hours per week, 7p-7:30a.
- Monday - Friday, some weekend and holiday rotation.
- Part-time (PT) position.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across units per Nursing Practice Act and ANA ethics.
- Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
- Collaborate with other patient care providers.
- Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
- Utilize nursing process to address patient needs.
