Job summary

HonorHealth's Deer Valley campus in Phoenix is seeking a registered nurse for night shifts in the Neuro Care Unit Telemetry Unit. The RN's practice follows ANA standards, performing assessments, administering meds, and developing care plans with the team to support stroke and neuro patients.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians, supervise licensed staff, and participate in evidence-based practice to improve outcomes while maintaining a safe, patient-centered

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in Arizona or compact state.
• Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for neuro/telemetry patients.
• Administer medications, monitor IVs, and verify dosages and interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and home plans.
• Precept and supervise junior staff and maintain evidence-based practices.
