Job summary

HonorHealth in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ seeks an RN for night shift in Medical/Surgical Unit-4P2-Surgical Care. The RN will assess patients, administer meds and therapies, and develop care plans with physicians and the care team.

Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting patient progress, teaching families, and adhering to shared governance and evidence-based practices. Sign-on bonus available for this role.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• RN license for AZ upon hire required; compact state licensure acceptable.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience for float positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care based on ANA standards and ethics.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
