Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an experienced Rapid Response Team (RRT) Nurse for night shifts to coordinate rapid response assessments, prioritize interventions, and ensure safe, age-appropriate patient care. You will document actions, communicate with teams, and develop RRT guidelines while serving as a resource to staff and patients.

The role requires 2+ years in critical care, ACLS/BLS, and an active RN license (single-state or compact).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RN license (Single State) or multi-state compact.

Responsibilities

• Responds to RRT calls and coordinates patient care during events.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Develops or follows RRT clinical practice guidelines and ensures communication across teams.
• Monitors patient outcomes and conducts follow-up as required.
• Educates patients and families and staff on RRT procedures.
