Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Rapid Response Team (RRT) Nurse for the Night shift at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center. The role involves coordinating RRT assessments, prioritizing interventions, and ensuring safe patient care, with SBAR-based documentation and collaboration across teams.

Requirements include an Associates Diploma in Nursing or higher, current Georgia RN licensure, ACLS/BLS and critical care certification on hire, and a minimum of 2 years in a critical care environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Responds to RRT calls and coordinates patient care during events.
• Documents assessment, interventions, and outcomes in patient record using SBAR.
• Develops and implements clinical practice guidelines for RRT.
• Monitors patient outcomes and conducts follow-up as required.
• Educates patients, families, and staff about RRT.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
