Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rapid Response Team to coordinate assessment, prioritization, and interventions during RRT events. You will document care, communicate with the team, and ensure safe, age-appropriate patient care.

The RRT Nurse works nights (7p–7a) under the Nurse Manager, serving as a resource for staff, patients, and families, and contributing to data collection and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in critical care nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to RRT calls and coordinates patient care during events.
• Documents assessment, interventions and outcomes in medical records.
• Develops and implements RRT practice guidelines and conducts data follow-up.
