Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a QA Tech to join our Night shift team in Georgia. You will ensure QC of labeling, portioning, meal bagging, and shipping line processes, conducting on-line checks against recipes and QA sheets. The role emphasizes food safety, GMP adherence, and timely escalation of issues to FSQA leadership.

Requirements include a high school diploma and preferably experience in food quality; this on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in food quality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-the-line QC checks of product against recipe specifications and quality standards.
• Labeling: verify correct product name and label placement per QA sheets.
• Portioning: ensure correct portion amount and use proper measuring equipment.
• Meal bagging: verify ingredients, shelf life, and bag accuracy.
• Shipping line: inspect line setup, sign off sheets, and monitor quality of protein and cross-contamination risks.
• Final box verification and post-op cleanup; ensure boxes are correct and ready for shipping.
