Qualifications

• Microbiology and Specimen Processing preferred.
• Minimum one-year inpatient phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and department protocols when handling specimens.
• Perform venipunctures, finger sticks, and pediatric heel sticks.
• Collect specimens based on test orders and ensure proper labeling.
• Document collection information in the electronic medical record.
• Respond to codes per hospital protocol and assist with STAT orders.
