Qualifications

• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; completion of phlebotomy program.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred (ASCP, NCA).

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection of blood specimens from patients of all ages.
• Perform EKG and non-blood specimen collection as needed.
• Process test orders and enter data in the computer system.
• Prepare and file reports; train phlebotomy students as needed.
• Replenish supplies and maintain hygiene of work areas.
• Coordinate with physicians and nursing units for test results.
