Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support night shift at Liberty LA Department. You will help with plan of care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure a safe, organized environment for patients and families.

Under supervision of a registered nurse, you'll document care details, communicate changes, and help with transport and clerical tasks. This position is part-time, 24 hours weekly, with 0.6 FTE status and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent requirement.
• One year of patient care experience within the last three years or completion of the organization's training.
• Requires CPR training and maintenance of certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: Provide approved care of assigned patients under supervision of RN and assist with daily living activities.
• Communication: Document changes in patient condition and communicate with team; assist with patient status updates.
• Environment: Maintain safe, organized, and infection-control-compliant patient areas.
• Administrative Support: Answer alarms, assist with charts and supplies, and help train new staff.
