Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's Liberty Campus is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Liberty PACU. You will support Plan of Care under RN supervision, assist with activities of daily living, patient transport, and 1:1 observation as needed.

The role is full-time, day shift (40 hours weekly) with starting pay in the range of $17.49–$20.99 per hour, plus potential shift and weekend differentials. The hospital emphasizes CARES behaviors and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following.
• Completion of medical/surgical or equivalent clinical rotation (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA).
• Listed on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA (reciprocity within 180 days).
• Listed on Ohio or National Emergency Medical Services Registry.
• 1+ years of patient care experience within the last three years.
• CPR training and maintenance of certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: provide approved care of assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and supervise developmentally appropriate activities.
• Assist with patient transport, or 1:1 observation as needed.
• Demonstrate CARES behaviors and report status changes promptly.
• Maintain a safe, organized care environment and assist with documentation.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited program clinical rotation

Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA (reciprocity within 180 days)

Ohio or National Emergency Medical Services Registry

1+ years of patient care experience (last 3 years)

CPR training and certification maintenance
