Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago, IL seeks a Night Shift Nursing Assistant to support RNs with patient care during the 7:00 pm to 7:30 am shift. This part-time role covers weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule and offers 24 hours per week with a pay range of $20.80 - $31.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• BLS certification to be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• GED/HSED or high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care tasks such as bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and document vitals and other patient data in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN promptly.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge activities under supervision.
• Collect specimens and assist with required assessments.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and proper patient positioning.
