Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a patient care assistant in Illinois for a full-time night shift from 7pm to 7:30am, 36 hours per week. You will support daily patient care, document vital signs and care activities in the EMR, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe patient transitions.

Candidate must have a GED/HSED or high school diploma and a current Nurse Aide registration; BLS certification is required within 45 days. Comprehensive benefits and total rewards are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS for Healthcare Providers within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, feeding, positioning, and activity orders.
• Document vitals, intake/output, weights, and other data in EMR.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
