Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Med Surg unit at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. This full-time role involves nights (7pm–7am), three 12-hour shifts per week with alternating weekends and holidays, and 36 hours per week.

Hourly pay ranges from $20.80 to $31.20, with benefits eligibility and opportunities for growth within a large health system. Must be prepared to perform patient care duties under RN supervision and maintain documentation accuracy in

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy for charting and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, feeding, mobility.
• Record vital signs and input data into EMR.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as required.
• Assist with patient positioning, transport and daily care activities.
