Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for night shifts in the Transplant Unit in Boston, MA. The role requires providing daily living assistance, vital signs, and support to acutely ill transplant patients across pre/post-operative stages.

Weekend and holiday coverage rotate with the team. Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of patient care experience; BLS and national certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience in lieu of a degree is not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic monitoring.
• Record vital signs and basic clinical data in EHR.
• Assist with admissions/discharges and transport within unit.
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking of patient rooms.
• Communicate patient needs effectively to nursing staff.
