Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Transplant Unit in Boston, with night availability and weekend holiday coverage. The role supports acutely ill organ transplant patients, providing daily living assistance, vital signs, and bedside care.

Onsite unit located at 273 Charles Street, 32 scheduled weekly hours. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS / CMA or CNA certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred.
• Licenses: BLS, CMA, CNA/Nurse Aide/Patient Care Tech certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and vital signs under supervision.
• Document measurements and intake/output in the EMR.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and daily living activities.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and needed equipment.
• Support admission and discharge processes and unit orientation.
