Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support two units, RACU and General Medicine, with day-to-day patient care activities and vital signs monitoring. The role requires flexibility for day shifts, weekend rotation, and on-site duties at 273 Charles Street in Boston, MA.

Training will occur after start for day shifts. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS, CMA or nursing assistant certifications, and strong customer service

Qualifications

• BLS and CMA/National Certification required.
• Experience with patient care in clinical settings is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and to work with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and vital signs documentation.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic clinical tasks under supervision.
• Document measurements and care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Support RNs and physicians with examinations and treatments as needed.
