Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contacts key personnel after hours as needed.
• Maintains an operational call log of activities, requests, and issues.
• Handles hospital disaster codes and announces them according to procedure.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Answers calls promptly, courteously, and accurately and forwards calls as needed.
• Updates on-call lists for staff when changes occur.
