Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a Night Shift Receptionist to provide customer-oriented reception and information services for patients, visitors, and staff. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide a customer-oriented reception and information service for patients and visitors.
  • Coordinate messages and information to and from patients and care providers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient records and information.
  • Use automated systems to access and manage clinical information.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and transportation and routing of information.
  • Provide clerical support activities (typing, filing, photocopying, mailing, census reconciliation).
  • Support electronic medical record processes and related duties as needed.
