Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of Ft Lauderdale is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for the night/overnight shift to handle dispensing, dosing accuracy, and patient care in a long-term/post-acute care setting.

You will verify prescriptions, manage controlled substances, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective pharmacotherapy while maintaining HIPAA compliance. This position requires FL licensure and prior LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacist license active and in good standing in Florida.
• Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of new and refill prescriptions and labels.
• Maintain LTC resident database with medical history and medications.
• Manage controlled substances inventory and compliance.
• Provide clinical drug information to staff and patients.
• Prepare sterile IV drugs and solutions.
• Support evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
