Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a Nurse House Supervisor (RN) for nights at a 50-bed rural facility in Washington. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing and an active WA RN license, with 3–5 years of acute care experience and knowledge of utilization review processes. ACLS/BLS/TNCC/PALS preferred.

You'll work full-time (36 hours), on 3-12 hour shifts, 7pm–7:30am, with rotating weekends. Compensation ranges from $47 to $77 per hour plus a $5 hourly shift differential, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and WA RN license.
• Three to five years acute care experience.
• Advanced knowledge of case management and utilization review processes.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• House Supervisor for a 50-bed rural healthcare facility.
• Collect and analyze data on patient admissions, transfers, and bed availability to improve patient care and maximize bed utilization.
• Ensure the patient is admitted to the most appropriate admission level of care and bed assignment; liaise with Physicians, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Unit staff, Care Management Staff, and other stakeholders for efficient operations.
• In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, act as the Administrator on Duty to make administrative decisions and supervise operations.
• Reports to the CNO.
