Job summary

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is seeking a Network Support II in Broomfield, CO. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and support mission-critical IP networks and related systems as part of the NOC team.

You’ll work a 10-hour shift, four days a week (10 pm–6 am MST, Wed–Sun). Strong customer service and ticketing experience are essential, with familiarity in Windows/Unix environments and industry certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2003, 2008).
• Basic knowledge of Unix operating system (Solaris preferred).
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy/Helix.
• At least 1 year of Help Desk-type or Network Administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network elements for anomalies and troubleshoot issues using network management software.
• Identify, triage, resolve or escalate incidents to Tier2 NOC.
• Monitor email for incidents and customer requests.
• Provide first-line technical support for customers via dedicated helpdesk line.
• Notify customers on incident progress or status changes.
• Maintain awareness of ticket trends and alert management to recurring issues.
• Perform deeper troubleshooting beyond Network Support I to enable faster ticket resolution.
