Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring an MRI Technologist for the North Shore Medical Center site. This full-time, overnight role (6:30p-7am Sun, Mon, Tue) offers full benefits on day one and a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include performing MRI studies, patient prep and positioning, protocol selection, QA, and collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff.

Onsite at 81 Highland Avenue. Required ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification on hire and 1-2 years MRI experience; ability to rotate

Qualifications

• Experience as an MRI Technologist 1-2 years required
• MRI safety procedures and protocols knowledge
• Ability to operate complex electronic equipment and instrumentation
• Comfort with rotating to multiple MRI scanners and shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory, inpatient, and emergency department patients
• Prepare patients, position, and adjust imaging parameters
• Inserts IV catheters and administers MR contrast agents with MR-compatible injector
• Ensure patient safety and effective communication with clinicians and caregivers
• Conduct routine quality control procedures and document results
• Assist with scheduling, transport, and inventory as needed
