Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking an MRI Technologist for onsite shifts in Boston. You will perform MRI studies, prepare patients, set imaging parameters, acquire images, and ensure quality and safety.

Flexibility with evening shifts and weekends is noted, with sign-on and comprehensive benefits discussed during interview. The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification within one year of hire, and experience with MRI equipment, patient populations, and QC procedures.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist required with ARRT or ARMRIT within one year
• MRI Tech experience with multiple patient populations
• Ability to operate complex imaging equipment and perform QC procedures

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission standards
• Conduct MRI scans for ambulatory/outpatient patients with image acquisition and processing
• Safely perform IV insertions and contrast injections, monitor for adverse reactions
• Educate patients on MRI safety and enforce safety protocols
• Perform scheduled quality control checks on MRI equipment and report issues
• Assist with scheduling, patient transport, inventory and filing
