Job summary

Mass General Brigham is actively seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare patients, and ensure safety. The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT credentials and 1–2 years of experience, with night shifts and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The position involves rotating across MRI scanners, providing patient care across age groups, and working with the MRI leadership team. Onsite at 81 Highland Avenue with benefits and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate complex MRI equipment and perform quality control procedures.
• Inserts IV catheters and administers MR contrast using MR-compatible injectors.
• Ensures patient safety and protocol compliance per department policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRI scans for ambulatory, inpatient, and ED patients, adjusting parameters for diagnostic quality.
• Identify patients and ensure safety protocols in accordance with Joint Commission guidelines.
• Coordinate with radiologists, nurses, and staff; assist with scheduling and transport as needed.
• Perform QA procedures on MRI scanners and report equipment issues.
