Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare patients, and optimize imaging quality. The role requires coordinating with radiologists and nursing staff, and rotating between MRI scanners as needed to ensure efficient patient flow.

Experience with MRI and ARRT MR or ARMRIT preferred; on-site night shifts with a 40-hour schedule and a $20,000 sign-on bonus are offered, along with day-one benefits and free parking.

Qualifications

• MRI tech experience with 0–1 year required
• ARRT MR (R.T.(MR)) or ARMRIT preferred
• Must demonstrate safety and patient handling competencies

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details; ensure Joint Commission compliance.
• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory/outpatient patients with image acquisition and processing.
• Safely perform IV insertions and contrast injections; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and enforce safety protocols.
• Conduct quality control checks on MRI equipment; report issues to leadership.
