Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI studies at our Boston location. You will prepare patients, position them, set imaging parameters, and acquire and process images with QA responsibilities. You may rotate to different scanners and handle IV contrast injections as required.

The role offers 8- to 12-hour evening shifts, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits beginning day one, with retirement options and MBTA/parking accommodations for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Medical Imaging required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• MRI Registered Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT within 1 year.
• CPR certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform MRI studies on patients using MRI equipment.
• Prepare patients, position them, and set imaging parameters per protocol.
• Acquire and process images; perform QA scans and document results.
• Administer MR contrast injections and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and ensure policy adherence.
