Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, ensure patient safety, and operate imaging systems during a night shift (9:00pm–7:00am). The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials within one year of hire and collaboration with radiologists and nurses.

Qualifications

• MRI certification within one year of hire (ARRT MR or ARMRIT preferred).
• 0-1 year MRI experience preferred.
• Ability to operate complex MRI equipment and perform quality control.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission standards.
• Perform ambulatory MRI scans with image acquisition and processing while maintaining diagnostic quality.
• Safely perform IV insertions and contrast injections; monitor for adverse reactions.
