Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare and position patients, and select imaging protocols. You will also handle image processing, QA, and safety coordination with the radiology team.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification within 1 year and BLS within 90 days. On-site schedule includes evenings and weekends with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Medical Imaging required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform MRI studies using a magnetic resonance imaging system.
• Prepare patients, position them, and set imaging parameters per protocol.
• Acquire and process images; perform QA scans as required.
• Instruct and ensure patient safety; manage IV contrast administration when needed.
