Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisors on the 3rd shift to lead the logistics operation, ensure safe and efficient work, and uphold customer expectations. You will coach and develop team members while driving lean improvements.

Responsibilities include scheduling, process review with the Logistics Manager, KPI accountability, and collaboration with customers. Strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• 1 year or more in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• H.S. Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate shift activities.
• Accountable for site KPI.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress and coach.
