Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Logistics to supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations, coach staff, and drive improvements in process efficiency and safety.

This role reports to the Logistics Manager and focuses on achieving business objectives while maintaining high service standards. The position requires leadership experience in transportation or warehouse settings, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, compliance with labor relations, and health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution preferred.
• 0–1 year supervisory/leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
• Collaborate with Logistics Manager to plan and review processes.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate staff for optimal shift coverage.
• Be accountable for site KPI performance.
• Work with customers on all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback.
• Promote diversity and inclusion within the team and improve processes.
• Perform performance evaluations and recommend recognitions or raises.
