Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• 1 year or more in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics operations; plan and review with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish work schedules and procedures for optimal shift logistics.
• Ensure KPI metrics are met in collaboration with the customer.
• Hold regular progress meetings and coach team members on performance.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and seek process improvements.
• Perform performance evaluations and consider merit-based awards.
• Address performance issues through corrective actions.
• Implement health, safety and security initiatives in line with policies.
• Provide orientation and equip Lead Hands with necessary information and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
