H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
0–1 year of direct supervisory/leadership experience is required.
1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution is preferred.
Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer specs.
Establish work schedules and coordinate activities to optimize shifts.
Accountable for site KPI and performance metrics.
Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations.
Conduct regular team meetings to monitor objectives and coach performance.
Promote diversity and inclusion and improve internal processes.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit actions.
Address performance issues through corrective actions.
Implement health, safety and security initiatives and company policies.
Provide orientation for employees and lead hands with necessary tools.
