Job summary

Carvana in Florida is seeking a management-level leader to oversee day-to-day transportation operations at the assigned logistics field operation location, including warehouse and inventory coordination. This role requires guiding multiple teams, ensuring safety, and driving performance across the site.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in logistics or supply chain and demonstrate strong leadership, with a focus on achieving local goals and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance/regulations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations needs at assigned locations in coordination with site leaders.
• Develop site-specific goals and ensure alignment and execution within the site.
• Review daily route schedules and work with planning to address issues.
• Mentor and develop direct reports through coaching and training.
• Maintain workplace safety standards and conduct GEMBA walks.
• Coordinate inventory movement and shift distribution to meet needs.
