Job summary

Carvana is hiring a management-level leader to oversee multiple site teams at the Hoffman Estates logistics location. The role focuses on day-to-day transportation operations, route optimization, safety, and cross-team coordination.

You will mentor staff and drive performance through coaching and structured development. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in logistics, 2+ years in people leadership, and familiarity with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance/regulations expected.
• Experience leading CDL drivers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations needs at assigned locations, coordinating with site leaders.
• Participate in development of site-specific goals and ensure alignment and execution.
• Review and adjust daily route schedules with Logistics Planning and Scheduling.
• Mentor and develop direct reports through coaching and training.
• Ensure safety standards and GEMBA walks are conducted.
• Ensure timely communication with internal teams.
• Coordinate and monitor movement of inventory through warehouse workflow; assign shifts to meet business needs.
